UX/UI design

My UX practice is built on a deep foundation in UI craft. By mastering design fundamentals; typography, layout and brand identity - I create the structural clarity needed for an experience to feel effortless. This background allows me to translate complex requirements into intuitive flows, ensuring every interaction is as functional as it is visually polished.

Spanning the public sector, finance and healthcare, I focus on how high-fidelity execution reduces cognitive load. I move beyond aesthetics to craft seamless journeys, utilising prototyping to validate every decision.

Economist Espresso App

As lead UX designer on The Economist Espresso App I collaborated closely with user researchers to create story maps and user journeys. I mentored junior members of the team and directed the UI concepts which would bring the key moments in the experience map to life.

I designed a prototype where we developed new features for the shortform daily news app so that users could test their knowledge and see how they rank against their peers.

Adam Bray Dermatology

I developed a visual identity for Adam Bray Dermatology that balances clinical authority with approachable care. The logo features a circular fingerprint motif, representing both the specialist focus on skin and the unique individuality of every patient. This identity is paired with an intuitive website that simplifies patient pathways and complex medical information through clear navigation and responsive layouts, ensuring a seamless, personal experience across all devices.

Runpath x Experian

As lead UX designer, I developed a streamlined mortgage tool that utilised credit data to surface offers without manual entry. By combining gamification with identity verification to pre-populate financial information, I created a prototype that delivered an agreement in principle significantly faster than traditional methods.

HSBC

Working with Sapient as a Lead UX/UI Designer to create a new experience for people who are relocating to maintain seamless access to HSBC products and services.

Barclays

Working client side with Barclays as a UX/UI Designer offered a broad range of design challenges, both external facing and internal projects.

One such internal project was called Barclays One, which aim was to unify differenct business units across the world together into one platform which could be personalised to users specific needs.

Another example was a notification dashboard where users could track and approve trades.
