The craft of visual design

My background is visual design by trade so ive come full circle to appreciate the importance of user experience and the difference between them. Ive worked both agency and client side; crafting identities for start up companies to rolling out large scale digital experiences for international clients.

I came up with a new look & feel for Antidote - a start up in the pharmaceutical sector. The design language inspired hope to people who want to explore alternative treatments and benefit medical research for critical illnesses.

I led the visual design for the TV App on Roku and YouView and also designed a parallax/scrolling product discovery website and concepts for iPhone. My contribution was instrumental in the redesign of Sky.com, producing and documenting a new design language across digital.

I led the design for a new platform for this social music startup. Working closely with UX I designed screens for a new tablet/phone proposition where you can discover other artists; see what's trending and engage directly with the artists.

Working as lead product designer I produced end to end experiments for new customer onboarding experiences. I created customer flows and sketches to rationalise a more user centric approach. Working on from the UX I then crafted the UI screens in Sketch and finally made clickable prototypes in InVision for user testing. Designs would then be developed further based on customer insights from user testing and delivered to the dev team in an agile environment.
